| Purpose |
This National Certificate in Project Management will equip project managers not only with theoretical skills, but also with the practical understanding required for effective project planning and implementation. The six modules will guide participants through a step by step approach to managing a project through its life-cycle.
The Advanced Project Management Programme is designed for current and aspirant managers who are involved in an array of projects, whether they are technical, business, government or community development projects covering a wide range of economic sectors. |

| Entry Requirements |

Learners are required to have completed the following unit standard as a prerequisite for entry onto this programme:
- Fundamental Project Management Programme (18 Credits)
- US 120372: Explain fundamentals of project management (Level 4, 5 Credits)
- US 120379: Work as a project team member (Level 4, 8 Credits)
- US 119462: Engage in sustained oral/signed communication and evaluate spoken/signed texts (Level 4, 5 Credits)

| Assessment |
- Portfolio of Evidence: On completion of the FPMP (18 credits) as well as the APMP, participants will be awarded the SAQA ID: 50080 Further Education and Training Certificate: Project Management, NQF Level 4 (136 credits)
