Supervisory Leadership Programme
Supervisory Leadership Programme
NQF Level 4 (46 credits)
Purpose
This programme is designed to create empowered supervisors who are well-rounded, had a wide range of competencies and who 'lead' rather than 'manage'. It is specifically aimed at supervisors or team leaders who have been identified as having managerial potential.
Articulation
The SLP articulates into Qualification 57712: Further Education and Training Certificate: Generic Management; NQF4; minimum 150 credits. The SLP is presented in a modular basis, the sequencing of which has been specifically developed so that the skills obtained in the previous module are solidified in the secceeding modules.

Problem Solving & Decision Making

US 242817: Solve problems, make decisions and implement solutions

Basic Finance

US 242810: Management Expenditure against a budget

US 117156: Interpret basic financial statements

 

Duration
  • Presented over a period of 6 months
  • On average, 16 contact hours per month
Entry Requirements
Learners are required to have competence in English, Mathematical and Financial  Literacy  at NQF Level 3/Grade 11 or equivalent. Entry requirements per module are unique and according to aligned Unit Standards. Internal placement assessments are available.

Portfolio of Evidence (including workplace-based assignments)
